High School Humanities Program A-G

Grades 9-12 (or advanced 8th graders with instructor approval)

This three-class program—World History, World Literature, and Academic Writing—offers students a full year’s credit in World History and Language Arts.

Classes can be taken à la carte, but they are designed to complement one another. A discount is available for students enrolling in all three.
Each class meets for one hour, with the subject matter of all three closely intertwined.
Literature selections are set within the historical periods studied, providing students with a deeper understanding of the lives and experiences of people from those eras.
Writing assignments will focus on literature, historical events, or both, helping students develop analytical and expressive skills while engaging with meaningful content.
This program is designed to cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, and a broad intellectual foundation through the integration of history, literature, and writing.
