Grades 9-12 (or advanced 8th graders with instructor approval)

This three-class program—World History, World Literature, and Academic Writing—offers students a full year’s credit in World History and Language Arts.

  • Classes can be taken à la carte, but they are designed to complement one another. A discount is available for students enrolling in all three.

  • Each class meets for one hour, with the subject matter of all three closely intertwined.

  • Literature selections are set within the historical periods studied, providing students with a deeper understanding of the lives and experiences of people from those eras.

  • Writing assignments will focus on literature, historical events, or both, helping students develop analytical and expressive skills while engaging with meaningful content.

  • This program is designed to cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, and a broad intellectual foundation through the integration of history, literature, and writing.
