We are a non-profit children’s musical theatre program (grades K-12th) that exists to bring glory to God in all we do, while giving children a platform to perform. We believe that singing, acting, and dancing are talents given to us by God that can grow with commitment and hard work. We express those talents by working to put on quality shows and by striving to leave the “drama” on the stage. We cast based on the gifts and talents that God gives each individual child. Dancers, singers, actors, and triple threats all are given the chance to shine in a way that showcases their abilities in the best possible way. Our core values are patience, honesty, transparency, love, and excellence. Although we perform junior versions of secular, Broadway shows, we understand that the core need of each child goes way beyond a space to perform. With an eternal perspective, our main goal is to point each child to Christ and his or her need for Him. The gospel is the center of all we do, and while we love putting on a good show, we want to lovingly show each child that giving glory to God is our reason for existence.

A1 Production Team: Rebekah Mackie, Claire Scotti, Jen Pacheco, Riley Mackie, Caleb Mackie, RJ & Arselene Hemenway

Instructors: Rebekah Mackie & Claire Scotti

After teaching Hands-on History to homeschoolers for the past six years, Claire and Rebekah are thrilled to bring this course to the high school level and reconnect with many of their former students.

Rather than relying on lectures and dry textbooks, this World History course will emphasize Socratic discussions, multimedia projects, and student-led presentations. Spanning from the creation of the world to modern times, students will explore major historical themes and wrestle with thought-provoking questions, such as:

  • The Jewish Legacy: How does the history of Jews in ancient society apply to their identity as God’s chosen people today?

  • The Reformation: Did the Protestant Reformation bring much-needed restoration, or did it cause unnecessary division and suffering? Or both?

  • Accountability in WWII: Which groups suffered most during World War II, who was responsible, and how should justice have been served?

Students will often conduct their own research at home and bring their findings to class for discussion. The goal is to foster lively, engaging conversations that encourage empathy, sharpen critical thinking, and help students develop a coherent, well-reasoned perspective.
