Using Biology: God’s Living Creation (5 th Edition) (Abeka), students will explore foundational topics in biology including units on botany, zoology, human body systems, ecology, and cellular structure.
Class time will include hands-on laboratory experiences, group activities, and clarification of key
concepts, while students complete readings and written assignments at home. The course
includes regular labs such as microscopy, experiments, and dissections, providing students with
practical experience and reinforcing scientific concepts.
Students will develop skills in scientific observation, data analysis, and critical thinking, while
gaining a solid foundation in biology. Most importantly, students will grow in their appreciation
