Step back in time and embark on an exciting journey through the ancient world! IEW’s Ancient History Writing course takes students on a cultural adventure, exploring famous places and events, while they hone their writing skills,

Using the four language arts — listening, speaking, reading, and writing — IEW methods have been proven to be effective for students of all ages and levels of ability. Students learn to take notes, retell narrative stories, summarize references, write from pictures, compose essays, and more.


In this class, we’ll be channeling our inner historians and practicing IEW-style writing. The course is a whirlwind of ancient civilizations, their epic tales, and legendary figures. Get ready to weave tales of epic proportions!

Latin is not dead, it's immortal! It is the mother of the five Romance languages- Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, and Romanian. Being one of the oldest languages still studied today, Latin is a model of order, clarity, and precision. Studying Latin enhances English vocabulary, critical thinking, and logical reasoning.


This class will take your student on a fascinating language and cultural adventure! Each week, students will have a blast learning vocabulary and grammatical forms through friendly class games, chants, and drills. Each week students will explore the captivating world of Roman culture, unraveling its profound influence on our world.

(Prior Latin or language study is not a prerequisite for this course!!)

This class follows a Charlotte Mason-style approach, emphasizing

hands-on exploration, observation, and living books. It will be a rich and wonder-filled journey through science and nature, inspired by the seven days of creation.Each week, we will delve into a different aspect of God’s creation—light, sky, sea, land and plants, sun and moon, birds and sea creatures, animals, and humankind. Through living books, journaling, experiments, and engaging discussions, students will develop a deeper understanding of both scientific principles and the beauty of the natural world. This class is perfect for families who want to cultivate curiosity, nurture a love for nature, and explore science through a biblical lens.
